Rex Price was born and raised in Star Valley Wyoming. He began drawing at a young age. His parents encouraged him to develop his talent. His father, Clark Kelley Price. a well known LDS artist, was a great source of help.
Rex sold his first painting in high school. He served a full time LDS mission in the Dominican Republic. Soon after Completing his mission, he enrolled in school at BYU Idaho where he is currently working on a bachelors of fine arts degree. In his off semesters he paints full time and loves it. “Like all talents, mine is a gift from God. My wish is to share the Gospel of Christ through painting, and bring joy to those who need it. I think that art accomplishes that in a very unique way. I love how a painting can say a thousand things, without saying anything at all.”
Rex enjoys painting religious, landscape and wildlife art. He is looking forward to a long, promising career.
