I began the under painting today. It was nice to begin this process and equally nice to be back in the studio. I was out all last week doing women’s conference, editing film for the project (Son of Man) and out of town to a Home Show in St. George. So today was a very anticipated day in many respects.

The under painting is going on very well and fast. I might add, I worked on Peter and Andrew on the left side of the canvas. I like their body positions and languages, so I started there. Usually, with little exception, I start with Jesus Christ and particularly with His eyes, but I think he may go in last because of proportion issues – We’ll see.
