The Lord Has Shown You Unto Me

Just prior to his death, Mormon passed the plates to his son, Moroni, to write the tragic ending of his people. Alone and in hiding, Moroni saw a future day when his words would come forth. He engraved these prophetic words: “Behold, I speak unto you as if ye were present, and yet ye are not. But behold, Jesus Christ hath shown you unto me, and I know your doing.” – Mormon 8:35
Two thousand years after he wrote those words, Moroni returned to earth as an angel and gave the plates to Joseph Smith who translated the records into what we kn. . .
