In Lehi’s Dream I find a symbolic reminder of my search for that which is most important to me
and my family---the tree of life. It represents the love of God and all He has to offer. All around
us there are things that attract our attention, distracting us from the love which we most desire.
As we hold onto the iron rod (the Word of God which is Christ), He will lead us to that love
which fills our hearts with charity for ourselves and for all men. This charity, which is the “pure
love of Christ,” is our most prized possession.
