Man Of Sorrows

"He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief…he was wounded for our transgressions; he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." – Isaiah 53
He did not sorrow for himself for He was perfect. But for us He drank the bitter cup. I wanted to capture in His eyes the love that took Him to Gethsemane, and in His face the sorrows that He carried every step of the way there.
